Are You Human?

zExperience the thrill of bypassing robot-detection systems, as the only alien that exists on Earth! You play as Zort, an alien who has an uncanny resemblance to the humans of our everyday lives. In each level,  you must collect the correct props to match the character given to you. Trick the reGOTCHA systems into thinking you're a human and have the correct props in a variety of scenarios! 

This project was developed in collaboration with teen employees at Artists for Humanity. As one of the Assistant Mentors there, I worked with the teens to conceptualize this idea, and bring it into fruition! Are You Human was developed as a Unity teaching tool for teen employees in the Creative Technology studio. Through learning the engine and understanding C# programming, new teens can expand off of this game to develop their own scenarios, including the Props to collect and Characters to match. 

Are You Human? was also used as part of the Summer Unity Program at Boston Cyberarts, in 2024 and 2025. Our students had the opportunity to design their own levels, including the props to collect and setting.
